Don't forget the 9100's (DL535's) on the narrow gauge in the Peloponessus.

If it wasn't so far away, India would be Alco heaven, with the WDM2's and variants on the broad gauge and YDM4's on the meter gauge.  Based on what I've seen on various websites, almost anything pulled by a diesel in India probably has an Alco design up front.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Sun, sea and an Alco doing what comes naturally.

Found on railfaneurope.net, pictures by gbidis.

For more pictures of these Montreal-build locomotives go to: http://www.railfaneurope.net/pix_frameset.html

Click on the flag with gr in it and choose diesel, A300 (world series) and A320 (hood type).

For more European Alco's see also Spain (es)(historic, series 313, 316, 318, 321) and Portugal (pt)(diesel, series 1500, 1520, 1550).

greetings,

Marc Immeker

For whom the Bell Tolls John Donne From Devotions upon Emergent Occasions (1623), XVII: Nunc Lento Sonitu Dicunt, Morieris - PERCHANCE he for whom this bell tolls may be so ill, as that he knows not it tolls for him; and perchance I may think myself so much better than I am, as that they who are about me, and see my state, may have caused it to toll for me, and I know not that.
