kgbw49The drone camera was great - it almost made it like watching a module on an HO layout.
Let me tell you, EVERYTHING on that YouTube channel is great viewing! I've already done a binge watch of everything he's got! What adds to the fun is I'm from that part of the country and I'm seeing it in a way I never did before, in a way it's hypnotic!
One stack too many, both in the wrong place with the wrong shape, in addition to the wrong color to be anything Alco. That's EMD through and through!
And for your own sanity, TURN OFF THE AUDIO on that 4014 video as soon as you hear any music or singing start... it is worse than just a 'soundtrack'.

Here is a little over three minutes of drone footage of an actual Alco with white exhaust. It is set to a soundtrack so you might want to turn the sound down if you find it annoying but the images are really good IMHO.

I beg to disagree - a true Alco clone would be belching black smoke not white smoke.
My understanding is that black smoke comes from too much fuel for the amount of air, such as caused by turbo lag, with the fuel getting ignited, while white smoke comes from a problem preventing ignition.
The video was pretty cool to watch.
Very enjoyable because of the drone. And it did remind me of 1950's vintage Alcos.
EMD Alco clone
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
As in "Honorary Steam Locomotive!"
This just in from the North Jersey Aerial Railfan, a fun video showing some Susquehanna action with an interesting twist!
