CSX SD40-2 #1722

Greetings,

CSX SD40-2 #1722  made an appearance in Deschler, OH on Dec 22. You can see on the Virtual Railfan highlights video at 15:22.

Clearly this locomotive is has undergone some major modifications. Can anyone tell me about this unit? Thanks.
