Thanks. So that's where the N&W unit went. The wreck replacement had some features not found on the other CV RS-11s.

A little more on the CV RS-11's.  3601, 3608 and 3612 all went to the Lamoille Valley.  3601 was a parts only unit and I think was the only RS-11 to get the reverse green/yellow front paint scheme.  3608 was the chop nose unit and was Paul Larsen's (RR President) favourite when on the CV.  3612 as noted survives on the York-Durham RR.

3606 and 3611 went to Quaboag Transfer with 3611 then going to Miller Mining.  One went to Indiana Boxcar as their 605, but I don't know which unit that was.  Wimpey Minerals had one that was numbered 360, but again, I don't remember its CV #.

The original 3609 was wrecked on the CV and replaced with a former N&W RS-11 (367) which went to the Maine Coast as their 367 and now operates on the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia.

There's more, but that's off the top of my head.

Cheers

As of 2006,

3600, 3603 and the 3604 were Delaware-Lackawanna 1800, 1803 and 1804.

3601 and 3608 to Lemoille Valley

3612 to York-Dunham Heritage Railway.

3605, 3606 and 3611 to Winchester and Western.

Thanks! Do you know anything about where the GP9s are now?

What were the fates of the CV and DW&P GP9s and RS-11s?

What happened to these GP9s and RS-11s? I know CN and subsidiary GTW rebuilt their GP9s in their own shops, but what about the other CN-owned railroads? It seemed like these two locomotive models on both railroads just disappeared in the '90s. I haven't been able to find much info, other then a single ex-CV RS-11 going to GVT-owned Depew, Lancaster, and Western in New York. Maybe they were all scrapped, that would be a shame. Does anyone have information on the fate or disposition of these classic high-hood models?
