SPSOT fanAnyone know why an ET44AC, a GE (Wabtec now I suppose ) product would be delivered to CN by BNSF when NS serves the GE plant in Erie. Wait, was it build in Ft Worth? Which is served by BNSF? That would make more sense. Can anyone confirm?

I suspect there are tax issuses involved in the location of formal delivery. There always have been since things such as sales and excise taxes were invented.

I wonder how they did on Byron Hill. Just fine, I am sure.
I have had the chance to see an ET44AC-ES44AC start up eastbound after a crew change at Pokegama a couple of years ago. The ET44AC was noticably louder than the ES44AC, cracking off like a unit of Her Majesty’s Royal Regiment Of Artillery firing off ceremonial rounds of grapeshot from their 12-lbers.

Carl: to get any effective viewing of the cars you'll probably have to take advantage of the 4K and zoom in really, really far.
That's really, really good sound for such a distant shot.
