AFAIK there are none in the USA. UP rebuilt the AC6000CW with 4,400 hp 7FDL engines and CSX used a Gevo 16 cylinder engine. The engine is capable of 5,800 hp but is restricted to 4,600 hp on CSX locomotives.

The eight BHP Billiton locomotives were replaced by EMD SD70ACe and later scrapped.

The 6,000 hp engine is still used in Chinese locomotives.
Regards, Volker
