I don't think that we have any shopcraft people among the membership.  Besides, I think that it has been pointed out elsewhere that the GEVO250 is a marine engine and not used in locomotives.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

We certainly do.  Perhaps foremost among them is a millwright (who answered the question dismissively).  Randy Stahl for one has extensive experience in practical locomotive diesel-engine maintenance and repair.

We also have 'boat nerds' (Leo Ames is one) who, if not directly knowledgeable in the 'ways' of GE marine power, can provide links to people who do, perhaps not directly.

However, I for one am getting a bit tired of shouting, poorly-worded posts excoriating railroad fans for not answering in detail about how to maintain marine diesels.

As a matter of potential interest, the 'remaining' part of GE Transportation announced at Innotrans yesterday the development of two new engines for 'shunters and light weight locomotives'.  These are 1800rpm V12 and V16 engines that appear highly different in many respects from the ship 250s.
