Breuer Switching/Shunting Locomotive
Posted by sswcharlie on Thursday, November 12, 2015 5:52 PM

Hi

Are there any Breuer shunting locomitives in the US ?  May have been captured in WW2 by US forces in Europe.

UK have such a model but can anyone tell which museum it is in ?

Thanks

I think he means the shunting tractors:

which to me are the answer to the question "what if Fiat built engines for locomotives"?

If there are any in this country, I'd be amused to see what their museum says about them.  I didn't think you could top the FAUR 'Quarter Horse' as a poor fit with the needs of American railroaders, but I think this design would do it.
