zito yellow scheme
Posted by oarb00 on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 12:14 PM

Hello everyone!!! I am trying to find out about when the Chicago and Northwestern began using the zito yellow paint scheme. I am modeling the CNW in the late 1970's and have a Kato SD45 in zito yellow. I am wondering if it is appropriate for the '78 - '79 era. I have been repainting quite a few units lately and would like to avoid a repaint on this one. Seems to me zito yellow was an '80s thing but not sure. Thank you for any input.

Modeling the CNW an BN in n scale in the the late '70s midwest.

Thank you for the info. I guess a repaint is in order then, never really liked the zito yellow scheme anyway.
