I think a handful on shortlines, but their numbers have been dwindling rapidly. Most were scrapped about 2006.

The only one I can confirm is Southern Manitoba, I believe that Arkansas & Missouri has a few stored. The units were never very reliable, and so most that remain are parts sources for Centuries.

Trillium (Port Colborne Harbour) Railway in Welland, Ontario still has one although I don't believe it is used regularly.

There were only 11 ever built, the demonstrator, which I believe is the one in Manitoba, and 10 for CN.  Several of those survived for a while on various short lines in Canada and the US but I don't have the most recent Canadian Trackside Guide to know current status.  There are more of the earlier M420s still around.
