<p>I am not an engineer. Shoot, I can barely drive a nail straight. But the discussions in this thread have helped me understand the difference between AC and DC power. It has been a great discussion for me. I have learned a lot.</p> <p>On several occasions I have asked for the advantages of AC vs. DC. Now I have finally gotten some answers that I understand. This is one of the advantages of being able to participate in these forums.</p>
