Any Updates on CO/VLIX SD18 7311?
Posted by The Railwolf on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 8:15 PM

Last I heard, this one-of-a-kind Chessie SD18 was headed to a rebuilder in Washington state. Does anyone know what's going on with her, or what will be done to her? I've heard every rumor: scrap, genset, restoration...I'd love to see her simply operationally restored in Chessie paint!

Here is a recent photo of her: http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=3668852

Re C& O 7311 - Seen and photographed Sunday, November 01, 2015 at Sandpoint, Idaho coupled up with a freshly blue painted Rail Link - MRL GP-9. near the Spokane International - BNSF interchange (Baldy Road West). Under NIWX initials it looks like it still has RSD 5 trucks lightly painted light blue.

Not really a recent photo, but are we sure this is a one of a kind? SCOX 5002 was spotted in Coolidge Kansas a few years ago.
