I had someone help me the other day help identify the lead unit on this photo. He thought it was a SD70-2 or ACE. Here is the photo: http://www.flickr.com/photos/upnate/7461607792/in/photostream
SD70M-2. The ACe has two horizontal vents stacked vertically, just behind the cab on the conductors' side (which is visible in this shot). The M-2 does not, and looking closely at this picture, the pictured unit does not have these vents.
The vents are for the AC inverters.
