North Shore was an Insull owned Interurban that ran from Chicago to possibly Milwaukee.  It ran around the loop before returning.  They had some really big cars and a couple of talgo trolleys that wound up on the Philadelphia Red Arrow line to Norristown.  A lot of equipment s in museums now and it has been defunct for about fifty years.

This North Shore is a short line in PA.  North Shore 446 is an SW9, ex CR/PC/NYC 8983.  Others may be able to fill in the details on the line's operations.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

CSSHEGEWISCH:  Thanks .. I suspected 446 was some kind of yard switcher. Hope can get those details on the line's operation.
