Caught a well worn UP C40-8 at Fleta (south of Mojave, CA) this afternoon. It was sitting on the OLBTN (empty trona train), nice to see those old machines still out & about.

I was able to catch UP 9223 a few days ago departing North Fond du Lac, WI stuffed between two NS motors on a return trip to Chicago area. The 9223 had many sections of paint missing as this one was just another one that if UP wasn't storing so many of these, would be in line for a trip through the paint shop sometime in the near future.
