The "Two Amigos", CNW Dash 9s 8646 and 8701, appear to have been assigned to the West Chicago local (West Chicago to Proviso and return) for at least the past half-week. They go west in the early morning, east even earlier in the morning. Good luck!

Their putting -9's on local's already!? Man either these loco's are older than I thought or the GEVO's are really taking over on the mainline. At least most of the loco's on the NS where I live are still -9 40CW's. Per haps these loco's are filling in for other loco's. What loco's normally pull the West Chicago Local?
