Boiler inspection before Week end Fan Trips.

Group of volunteers pulling the engine in for a complete boiler inspection.

They had the jacket off in no time at all.

Every thing looked good and is ready to be buttoned up.

All back together by Friday. Some touch up with paint

Everyone is having a good time.

Too bad the photos of the locomotives being scrapped aren't even the same type locomotive.

If "I missed the first" means that it's a different locomotive, that's obvious.

Look at the firebox section, it's squared off, as compared to the second and third locomotive pictures. Now look at the pilot truck, or what's left of it.

Then  we can always ask why the scrapped locomotives appear to be in the desert and the finished one is in a forrest.
