All I know about the Minneapolis & St. Louis is that it was bought by the Chicago & North Western. Diesels aren't that hard to find. There is a PRR GP9 on horseshoe curve, the depot at Barstow, CA has a ATSF FP45 and a UP SD40-2 on display, there is a GM&O GP30 in Mobile, AL, etc. Most diesels still have some revenue value as opposed to the high cost fo steam locos makes them less likely to be on display yet, unless they are historically significant because of model or owner.
