As of today, no return back to Texas route has been printed or announced.  It will probably go back to So Cal and travel on the Sunset to Texas.   The moved it at night for most of the travel up the Valley line to Sacramento, but moved it in daylight to the Bay area.

If you find out any information, please post it and I will do the same.

Cheers

Thanks for the info.

Somehow I missed the trio 1988,1995, and 2001.  I was working (which is right next to the westbound track from Reno) and it never passed on that track.  There was a lot of traffic that day and as overpowered as that train usually is they may have sent it down the eastbound track.  It would have been cool to see those engines crossing the trestle over 80 in Auburn!

Along those same lines of tracing locomotives,

The 1995 was in the Stockton shops for minor repairs after the grade crossing accident as of 9/07/07, but if anyone knows when it is coming out of the shop,  Please post the information..

Thanks

Cheers
