Was not my initial post explcite enough to mean the Big Boy historian?

Since it was apparently a reference to someone who had posted a blog back in May, I'd say it wasn't very clear who you were referring to. But I wasn't hijacking anything, just having a little fun. Wink

The 'inter webs' are all about being other than explicit - there has yet to be written the thread that could not be hijacked.

Never too old to have a happy childhood!

As I recall George W. Bush, besides being related to some currently well known folks like his cousin Billy Bush (of the Trump / Access Hollywood tape) and the son of Pres. George H.W. Bush, is related to something like 1/4 of all prior US presidents. For example, his mother's maiden name was Barbara Pierce, and she was a direct descendent of President Franklin Pierce, along with connections to several other presidents. Plus of course George Herbert Walker was the guy responsible for the Walker Cup.

Well it depends. There are a lot of John Bush's out there! If you mean former Florida Governor John Ellis "Jeb" Bush, then yes. If you mean John Bush, the lead singer for Anthrax...probably not.

There's also Mr. John Bush-General Manager of the Cumbres and Toltec Scenic Railroad.

I am not an attorney. Nothing in this communication is intended to be considered legal advice. However, I am a legal professional who routinely deals with attorneys when they screw up their court filings.

Perhaps thia has been answered before, but I feel impelled to ask the question.

And I do thoroughly enjoy the explanation of the UP's Big Boys, which I am preserving on my hard drive and a USB, understanding that it is not to be transmitted to others.
