ATSF 2926 is definitely a Big-Barreled Baldwin! Plus it is just fun to say it!
It will be great to see the biggest of the 4-8-4s back under steam again.
That Big-Barreled Baldwin pickin’ ‘em up and layin’ ’em down will be something to behold!
I was watching the live cam from Jim Wrinn covering the work on ATSF 2926 yesterday, and was very impressed by the progress that has been made on it. It looks like it will be ready to run in the not-very-distant-future(May or June?).
