Thank You.
Some updates, after loading was completed 1392's truck ride went off without a hitch and She has been running on the Alberta Prairie Railway between Stettler and Big Valley for the past few days. Many doubleheaded runs with AP #41. Some more video of the move:

This is the first time I've been around doubleheaded steam locomotives, and it is really neat to see the two crews working together to run the train.
And NDG I did look at 1392's actual brass number plate, there is no seam so it probably isn't the original Canadian Northern one. I'm not surprised at that, she was in several accidents while still in service and the number plate could easily have been damaged enough that it had to be replaced.
Also of note here, the plate 1392 currently wears is an aluminium reproduction painted in brass & red. The brass original is kept under lock and key back at the Museum. Unfortunately as we all know locomotive number plates are quite valuble and they have a tendency to grow legs and "walk" away in the night.
We have about five more aluminium ones waiting in line for just such an occasion.

I forgot to add this link to the original post, 1392 made the 6:00 CTV news:

And thank YOU for the CPR locomotive links NDG, not off topic at all!
1392 was orignally a Canadian Northern engine of the same number, and would have been painted similar to this 2-8-0 when she left the factory:

Even a lowly, common, diminutive and ancient ten wheeler is forever ahead of any straight hunk of metal boxing in a stinky Diesel engine.
As an added attraction there is the sights, sounds and aroma's of coal smoke, valve oil and steam, the craftsmanship and individuality of construction, the external combustion and movements of rods and their connections and the sheer power on display vs. the charm of a lawnmower, even if it has a fancy smancy paint job.
A person can walk into the gates of hell with their eyes wide open but even the devil can't fool a steam lover.
Miningman Gotta like that comment on the video " two ugly diesels were added as dead weight and dragged around in order to give her a workout". Yeah, thats about right.

To cool for words! Thanks for posting! Looks like in Canada steam rules, in addition to Her Majesty.
The Alberta Railway Museum's ex-CN Ten-Wheeler is being moved by truck from northeast Edmonton to Stettler, AB to run some trips on the Alberta Prairie Railway, including a few doubleheaders with AP 2-8-0 #41:
