Dave, there are probably thousands of companies that put artwork on dishwasher-safe mugs at low cost.  Many schools, for example, have programs that put your kids' best artwork on a mug for about $10.  My former housekeeper had, lo! it's over 20 years ago now! , all the paraphernalia for making these mugs set up as a portable rig that she'd take to various events and produce up-to-the-moment keepsakes 'on short headway' -- I still think this is the best possible memento you can have if you enjoy having your picture taken with a celebrity -- and it shouldn't be difficult to figure out  someone somewhere close to you that will take your artwork and produce a replacement.  At optimal scale.  Perhaps with a favorite style of mug.

If you can't find somebody, ask and I'll figure something out to fit your budget.

Disparing of finding a replacement, I printed out the design on my computer.   I will scotch tape it to a replacement mub, and renew it when soiled.   If anyone else was a good freind of Richard Horstmann and want the design, email me at dave.klepper@yahoo.com, and I will attach it jpg to return mail.
