Whistle-and-Ride!

On Saturday, May 7, Bartlesville, OK is having a whistle and ride event!  This includes an excursion ride and the inagural blowing of the newly restored (cosmetically) AT&SF no. 940 whistle!  Unfortunatly, tickets are sold out (sorry I didn't get this post out earlier) but you can still come for the 9AM whistle blowing.  Here are the details:

  • Blow the 940's century-old whistle
  • Snap photos in the 940's cab
  • See the new 940 video in the 940 waiting area
  • Enjoy refreshments, 940 souvenirs and free musical entertainment
  • Ride the "Bartlesville Oil Flyer" - SOLD OUT!

201 South Keeler Avenue
Bartlesville, OK 74003-2631

You will eventually be able to blow the whistle as you wish on Saturdays between X-XPM (undetermined)

Feel free to come if you are in the area!

Acela
