Several years ago a group was working on the restoration of Lee Tidewater Cypress 2-6-2 #4 on the Hardin Southern. What became of this loco?

This is old information from the Kentucky Railfan Group on Yahoo. As of August 23, 2006 the locomotive was for sale.

Actually the ex Lee Tidewater Cypress 2-6-2 is currently for sale on

The 2-6-2 #4 was recently purchased by the Wanamaker Kempton and Southern Railroad located in Kempton Pennsylvania. It will be restored to service for their tourist operations. The website for the WK&S is www.kemptontrain.com
