Steam engines running very fast

<p>The guys I know say that they took SLSF 1522 up to 79 mph on a couple occassions. (79mph was the max speed the engine was rated for by Amtrak.)</p> <p>"It was cool" they said, but noted that the novelty soon wore off and doing a 'leisurely' 45mph was much more enjoyable for everyone.</p>
