[/quote] ...and it makes the excursion last much less longer. Espeacially today when a significant portion of the people who ride are families, ect. People want it to last, so they can savor the experience and revell in the nostlagia. If I'm gonna pay close to $200 for an excursion ticket, I want it to be a day-long event, and get the most for my money. ...and anyone who has ever ridden the Accela will know that going 90+ mph is really overated.
