Mr. Harrier and others predicted this. Only the detail specifics are novel. Now we get to see the shenanigans as various denizens of plaintiff's bar try to shovel some percentage of ultimately very-deep-pockets liability onto Union Pacific. Rats.
What I see from the early pictures is that it occurred on a gravel frontage road. With a large pickup truck at the back of a string of accordioned vehicles. I have a suspicion this is a combination of target-fixation distraction and relative failure of antilock-braking effectiveness...
If this was the only Big Boy chase-related car crash, I'd be very surprised.
