OK, so I see the ancillary activities and they look great.   Though I hope the bus is not going to join the crowd of inconsiderate people attempting to parallel the train at speed on a parallel road in that reckless mob of railfan people with their cars.

I have a feeling that law enforcement will be involved in this one.

With that said, I been safely chasing steam for the best part of 47 years. This I think will be the chase I never got to have in the 1950's.

We as a community, can do this. I have never risked my life or others for that perfect shot. Never will.I hope others will have the same respect.

Even negative remarks  of somes will not deter me. I really just want to be thier to experience  what so many rail fans have seen before me. Watcing  her at speed or resting at a station will be great to soak in. It's a moment in time that will be hard to replace.

I can always wait for the videos.

Can one take Amtrak to Cheyenne? I’m thinking this involves a bus, no?

Still in training.

Denver is as close as Amtrak gets to Cheyenne.  I don't believe that there is a Thruway bus connection either so you'll have to make your own arrangements.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
