Milw F units in danger of scrapping (ITM Noblesville)
Posted by ONRFan89 on Saturday, July 7, 2018 10:41 PM

Hi, I am wondering if anyone can think of a group or organization that would be in a position to save the two EMD Milw F units at ITM before they are scrapped? Not sure if anyone is aware of what is happening at ITM right now? http://www.rypn.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=42162

If anyone is truly serious with cash in hand and a way to move two EMD f units one of which is a rare EMD F7 B unit please contact Chris Campbell at Kentucky Steam Heritage. Thank you.

The deadline was July 12th to get it out.  City police and sheriff locked the site.  If it wasn't in private hands (not "owned" by ITM) by then, it is too late.  Rumor has it all the locomotives were "sold" to USRail to take advantage of that loophole.
