Wonderful!  That judge did the right thing because who knows?  The time may come when the state of New York may be VERY glad those 34 miles of track are in place and ready to use.

Can you imagine the cost to replace it say, 10 or 20 years from now when the state says "Oops!  We made a mistake on that one!"

If Lake Placid wants to host a third Winter Olympics, they are going to need that track. Most observers do not think another Olympics would be practical but the people in the Adirondacks are a pretty stubborn bunch kevin
