Scenes from the last two weekends of the Steam Railroading Institute’s “North Pole Express” December 2016 excursions; Pere Marquette #1225 looks right at home in the snow and cold of the Michigan winter.

 

A huge ‘thank you’ to the entire team at SRI, without the countless hours their volunteer staff logged a magical experience to the North Pole for the Holidays is not possible. It’s very obvious they appreciate how special the #1225 is...

Matthew, many thanks for sharing your awesome photos. My Grandsons love the Polar Express and when they saw the pictures of the "real engine" they almost exploded! Truly great photos. You are a MASTER!
