Any more up dates on the # 4014 ?
Thanks in advance.
I was in the Cheyenne steam shop yesterday. It didn't appear that a lot had been done with 4014.
However, I was surprised to see how far apart they've taken 844. The entire cab and all the controls are off, exposing the back of the boiler.Side rods and main rods and valve gear removed. Rear drive wheels removed. It looked like the boiler was gutted, no tubes that I could see.
They did tell us 844 is scheduled to be back on the rails by September, so they have their work cut out for them!
Awesome
