nkp # 765 excursions
Posted by ROBERT WILLISON on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 3:38 PM

Can any one tell  me what  kinds of equipment  is typically  found in the # 765 steam excursions? I was on an excursion last year with her, but it looked like most of it came from the cvsr  and some sweet heavy weight coaches from mid west historical society. We rode a cvsr dome car last summer. Was wondering if any domes or parlor cars will be along for the trip?

I will have to check my photos from a few years back to see exactly what cars were in the consist, but a few years back in Altoona the excursion there did have a dome car...

EDIT: Here is a couple shots I just uploaded, of the four in consist in May 2013 Horseshoe Curve Excursion. (Hopefully they work correctly....) Once into album, other shots are available inside it from the excusion, and a few extras also.

Sometimes the Fort Wayne Railroad Historical Society will use some of their own equipment on their excursions.
