<p>[8D] I rode a narrow gage steamer in Ga. on a tourist site that there was only room in cab for 1 person. they had both a fireman and engineer. many private engines that were oil fired were routinlly operated with only one crew man on industrlial lines. all non flame steamers were always one operator only.</p>
