MILW 261 2014?

Im a bit confused, I have not seen anything new with 261 since they did the fall color trip? Is it down again?

no. 261 is alive and wel they just did a break in exursion. she will be on the main line later this year.

I'm also a little confused. The Trains article directs the reader to the Friends of 261 website for more information regarding the September Minneapolis to Duluth round trip. The only problem is there's no information regarding this excursion on the website.

Mailing went out this week. Excursion Minneapolis to Duluth Sept 27. Duluth to Minneapolis, Sept 28.

It may just be a little premature. Us members of the Friends usually get an e-mail a week or two before the excursion is posted to the general public, so as to get first crack at signing up. I imagine the website will have more info soon.
