Carthage,Knightstown & Shirley: saved? or Gone?

can anyone tell me if someone or a group saved the carthage, knightstown & shirley railway from being abandoned? its shown in trains' may 2014 issue in their 2014 ride this train railroad fun guide section.

It appears that the CK&S was caught between rising costs and declining revenues - and the fact that the owner is 79 years old and was operating it more as a labor of love than as a profit-making enterprise.

According to several articles I just found, all operations have ceased and the rolling stock is being sold off.  I don't doubt that the tracks will follow.
