Hello All: I am helping my son and his BSA Troop repaint a former troop sleeper at North Judson, Indiana as his Eagle Project. We need to get the font for the Pullman lettering so that we can have replacement letters made for the project.
Does anyone know where we could get the font that Pullman used for the lettering on these cars? Ideally, I would like to get the font in electronic format for use by the printer.
I am aware of the Newberry Library and the Pullman Historical Society. I have made inquiries of them already. Hopefully, one of you can direct me to an on-line source. Many thanks, Bjarne Henderson bjarne@juno.com
I believe it's called "Extended Railroad Roman", at least in model railroading that's what most manufacturers of decals call it.
