Why does the Forum list, under "Steam & Preservation", show "Re:re: a new steam car to try for speed record" as the latest post? It has been there that way for a couple of weeks; there is NO message by that name, at least not on the first page.

Sorry, in a discussion of thermal efficiency of steam locomotives, I responded with a link and discussion of a steam engine for a recent custom-built automobile being prepped for a speed record in order to showcase a new compact condensing steam engine.  My post engendered much discussion, and the chain of replies shows "Re:re: a new steam car . . ."

Why the "system" around here does that, I don't know.

If GM "killed the electric car", what am I doing standing next to an EV-1, a half a block from the WSOR tracks?
