July 3rd 2009- SP 4449 is leaving Wishram at 24 mph at 11:01 am.
I watched them pass through Sandpoint ID around 11:45 CDT. I would have thought that would be a natural watering stop, but they didn't get below 30 mph and are now on the north side of town picking up speed.
(Sigh) Making that trip was beyond my means, both in terms of time and money, but it is very hard not to be envious.

This is the 4449 at Wishram for the service stop.
Tracking stopped about 6 PM MDT Tuesday, just outside of Minot, ND. No reports since then. Any idea where it is now?
I found the 4449 Twitter page to be the most useful in tracking the 4449. With it I took these shots of it passing though my town.

It's coming through again on the 31st in the morning and I'll be there to get some more shots of it on the move.
