I'm afraid not.  1522's home is the National Museum of Transportation in St. Louis, Missouri.  It was restored by a group in St. Louis, although the museum retained ownership.  The last run of 1522 was September 28 & 29, 2002 from St. Louis to Newburg and back each day.  Due to a number of factors including the rising cost of insurance and new requirements for boiler maintenance / overhauls, it was decided that it wasn't economically feasible to continue operation.  Too bad; I spent both days chasing 1522 that last weekend it ran.  It was great seeing Frisco steam operating on its old rails while it lasted!
