On November 9, 2008 the Soo Line #1003 ran a photographers special on the Wisconsin & Southern RR from Waukesha to Janesville, WI. Unfortunately the weather wasn't perfect but the #1003 crew and locomotive put on a great show for the photographers present. The trip was organized by Historic Transportation Preservation HTP Inc. The Southern Division of WSOR has some neat spots including wig-wags at Lima Center.
