Steam Locomotive brass bell question....
Posted by Modelcar on Thursday, November 6, 2008 9:40 AM

.....Had a call from a friend last evening regarding a steam locomotive brass bell.  I have no specs. on it, but can anyone give me a general price range these antique pieces might be in....?

Edit:  No one over here in "Steam" have any ideas on this.......?

I have seen them go on e-Bay....usually between $800 to $2000 price range... depends allot on the condition of the bell... the shipping can also be costly; as these bells can range from 70 pounds to over 225 pounds with their bell-cradle..

There is a smaller, nice looking aluminum reproduction for sale on eBay for about $120...tempting??
