KRM L&N 152 Plans
Posted by L+N152fan on Monday, October 6, 2008 2:29 PM

Does anyone know what the Kentucky Railroad Museum plans to do in 2009 with 152? I really enjoyed myself in May of 2008 when my son and I got to ride in the cab. The crew was highly proffesional, the weather was great, and plenty of photos were taken. The KRM has a nice little train ride and when I get back from Iraq in 2009, I'd like to know the schedule of the first cab ride I might have a chance at getting. Anyone know any interesting history facts, or stories of restoration on this locomotive? How many whistles does the museum have available for her? Any other excertions planned on other lines? What websights have great pictures and video of this engine, and would anyone like the photos and video I have of my day in the cab?

You can go to the Kentucky Railroad Museum's web site a www.kyrail.org and click on Train Excursions this will take you to a link of 152's schedule. Unless a special run occurs 152's first run of the year is usually Memorial Day weekend. The next years schedule is usually posted in early spring.
