Milwaukee Road #261 Photographers Special
Posted by kschmidt on Thursday, May 22, 2008 9:24 PM

Greetings,

I had the chance to be a part of Photographers Special that featured the Milwaukee Road #261. The special was organized by Peter Lerro Productions and the host railroad was the Twin Cities & Western(former Milwaukee Road rails).  It included a Friday May 9th night photo session, Saturday May 10th #261 pulled a short revenue freight and on Sunday May 11th #261 pulled a 6 car passenger train.  Unfortunately Saturday was cloudy and the rain came in the afternoon, but Friday night and Sunday were great.

BIG THANKS to Pete Lerro and his crew and the #261 and the steam crew and the Twin Cities & Western people for putting up with a bunch of crazy railroad photographers.  It was a great weekend.

Here are some photos from the weekend
