Milwaukee Road Skytops

An article in the Buffalo News states that the salvage of the car ferry Lansdowne is alomost complete and the Milwaukee Road Skytops have been acquired by the Illinois Railway Museum.  The website for the museum doesn't seem to conform this.  Did IRM acquire the Skytops?

There has been a lot of discussion on this on the Milwaukee Road List-

It is free to join and worth it for CMSP&P fans.

Apparently these are just shells in poor condition, and I believe it is actually the MRHS that is/has acquiring/acquired them.

Was one of those skytops the one who resided in Denver for years in the industrial backtracks at Mesa?
