South Bend is so close to Mishawaka and Elkhart that you must travel east to watch the action on the Norfolk Southern at the National New York Central Museum and the Mishawaka Rail Yard hobby shop.

It's been a few years since I have been to South Bend to railfan. I think the place to watch trains was at Arnold St where the ex-Grand Truck merged with the ex Conrail.

Can you still view trains at Arnold Street? Is there other places in South Bend to go? I may be headed up that way next month.

Any information is appreciated.
