Railfan Report for Nov 29 2015

My hometown of Murfreesboro TN is located on the CSX Railroad from Nashville to Chattanooga. We still have an active depot here.There is a passing siding by the Depot. I drove there this morning and observed the following;

1) There was an empty autorack train in the siding when I arrive at 8:30 am.

2) 8:45 am- Northbound mixed frieght train.

3) 8:55 am- Northbound autorack train.

4) 9:47 am- Southbound mixed frieght train.

5) 10:08 am-Southbound mixed freight train, lead unit CSX#7309.

At 10:14 am I had to leave.

I returned to the same spot at 7:10 pm, there is a northbound tank train in the siding.

7:20 pm- Southbound autorack train.

7:22 pm- Northbound tank train in the siding leaves.

I leave at 7:25 pm
