In Jacson, MS the CN (IC) turntable and partial roundhouse are still very much in use.

I went into Google nd typed in the word roundhouse and came back with three of them. One was mentioned earlier so I won't mention that one. The NYS&W has a turntable in Ridgefield Park, just south of the Overpeck Creek bridge. I am pretty sure that there is still an operational turntable at Port jervis New York. I know it was restored for the 614 excursions in the 90's but I don't know if it has been used since.

The BNSF (formerNP) turntable at Parkwater (Spokane Wa) is still there but the roundhouse has been demolished

Scott City Mo. (ex SSW/SP) A section of the old roundhouse is standing. It is used as storage for a farm co-op.

In Auburn NY, there is an old roundhouse next to the old Bombardier plant.
There is a working turn table at the Danbury Railroad Museum in CT. Another place in CT where theres an old turn table pit some where in south western CT, the HRRC yahoo group can answer that question.

About 5 miles from my home are an 1875 roundhouse and half roundhouse, both now used for non-railway purposes but preserved immaculately.

IIRC, there is a small turntable adjacent to the Santa Fe/San Diego trolley yards in San Diego ... think it is still used by the SD&IV.

Hey it may be in a museum but it's opporational. The roundhouse at Greenfield Village in Dearborn MI is open to the public.

Pasco, WA BNSF yard has a round house. It only has 3 or 4 stalls left, and is still in use regularly. Turn table is used all the time.

Interbay yard, in Seattle, ex GN, still very active BNSF maintenance facility using roundhouse and turntable. Last one that I am aware of on a class 1 RR.

NS has an operating turntable and roundhouse in Louisville, KY. Three stalls of the former Kentucky & Indiana Terminal RR roundhouse are in use.

In Boonsboro, Maryland's CSX / MARC yard, there still is a turntable. It doesn't look like it has been used recently. There used to be a B & O roundhouse there as well, but that was torn down many years ago.

CSXT has a Roundhouse and Turntable in Saginaw, Michigan.

The Newburgh & South Shore RR has a turntable and Roundhose in Cleveland, Ohio

Niles, Michigan, the old Michigan Central line now used by Amtrak, Roundhouse and Turntable in place but no longer connected to any railroad, the yard is gone and tracks, but is converted to truck use, the bays storing whatever.
I presume the turntable works.

CN Sarnia yard still has a roundhouse(although half of it has been torn down the turntable is gone and it's no longer is use by CN) however a locomotive rebuilder, Lambton Diesel usses the roundhouse as their shops.

There are a few locations that I know have turntables and may or may not have roundhouse.
BNSF-East Thomas yard in Birmingham, AL
TVRM East Chattanooga and on the C&C at Summerville, GA
CSX, Atlanta, Birmigham, Nashville t/t and round house
NS had one in Atl at the old Pegram shops but it has been removed.

This is the former GN Jackson Street roundhouse, which is now owned by the Minnesota Transportation Museum. The Terraserver photo is old and shows the pit filled in and the turntable missing. The Museum has since had restored them to operation.

This is the former Soo Shoreham. I'm not sure if it is still standing. I'm pretty sure it isn't active. This photo is very old.

There is a turntable only at BNSF's Northtown yard. It is just north of the road bridge in the photo. The shops are just long straight buildings.

Prince Albert Saskatchewan in Canada has a fully operational turntabe and the last roundhouse built by the CNR in Canada for the dual purpose of servicing both diesels and steam locomotives. Both items are still used every day by the Omnitrax short line The Carlton Trail Railroad.

I find that Google Earth is also a fun way to chance upon roundhouses, which are often conspicuous in satellite photos.

The C&EI (UP) Roundhouse at Villa Grove, Ill is still standing. It looks really bad, I am suprised it is still standing unless owned by a private party
