Yes. I'm writing a guide to museums/trips/train watching and got this back in January 2013:

The viewing platform is complete but the accessible ramp is only halfway completed. Our plan is to have this completed in the spring but individuals could still climb the hill to view the trains. The caboose is in place and most of the native landscaping installed. We are eager to complete this project for the viewing public. Homan Avenue and North Street is the best way to describe the location.

I drove by there the other day. The covered platform at the top of the hill looks completed, but the path to the top is totally unimproved. I would think that it would be fixed up before a formal opening, but you can probably climb to the top now.

Is the rail park in Park Forest, Il open yet?  The info on the website appears to be out of date. I thought it was supposed to open last summer.  Any info would be appreciated.
